- Petr Zapletal was born in Brno, 1965. Once graduated at the State c
conservatory in Brno in the class of composition led by prof. Spilka, he eventually started his own c

career as music master at primary artistic school, focusing himself on recorder playing, to which h
he devotes since childhood. Zapletal also manages several chamber orchestras, conducting them, as w
well as supplying them with a great deal of arrangements. He writes both instrumental and vocal m
music of various purposes, nowadays largely composing instructive pieces for children
children.
