Albinoni Tommaso (1671 - 1750) 
  • Tommaso Albinoni was born in Venezia, as the first son of wealthy paper merchant. As a man of great musical multi-talent, he subsequtnly succeeded as choir singer, violinist and finally a musical composer, too.
  • Albinoni's works include operas, cantatas and plenty of instrumental compositions. In sonatas, he followed A.Corelli's style, while his baroque concertos are influenced by Giuseppe Torelli. Nowadays, he is well known largely for his sonatas and concertos for oboe, trumpet and violin.
